Watched the Man City - Sunderland match today specifically to check out the return of Claudio Reyna.
Exhale.
I was borderline worried about how fit he’d be for the World Cup. Especially since the U.S. team looked a little disorganized in the middle of the field against Poland. But it looks like Claudio is just fine. He played 81 minutes, and hit a beautiful 60-yard pass to help create City’s second goal.
For the record, Sunderland is pretty discount. They “tried” hard, but yikes. Not a lot out there.
